You can use a similar database for Human Resources Job Descriptions and Payroll. * Human Resources
PrsNote includes translator text reports for importing into spreadsheets:
You can use your PrsMemo StrongForm for simple memos.
You can use your PrsTeLog report to list names, addresses, and telephone numbers.
You can view or print a summary report for your activities with your PrsLog StrongForm. If you want to see your Accounts Payable, such as credit card charges, then you can
query for Actual =0, with
a report for Estimate <0. Likewise, for Accounts Receivable, query for Actual=0 and
Estimate>0.
Translating with PrsSS StrongForm. Notice that one of the WeekPlan blocks
has the same data as you have in the PrsNote database. Why key the same data
twice into both the database, where you have all the details, and the
spreadsheet, that has the essentials in a flow pattern? Now, you can get
into one of the key features of StrongWare, the concept of using 'translator'
report files for integrating the database and the spreadsheet, so you can
ensure that the same data is used in both forms. You can enter both with the
same data by using the PrsSS translator report and save yourself a
lot of time for multiple entries, particularly if you have many records to
plan with, as in weekly planning.
You can setup your Personal Information system to do all of the tasks
mentioned above; however, you really need to go back to the
* Budget & Tax
and * Human Resources
to see the StrongForms to fully appreciate the value of using Strongware.

If you like weekly or monthly planning and you dislike reviewing
old marked-up records or notes or desk calendars, then you can use your
PrsNote for scheduling and recording actions.
If you like to use a pocket planner and you like the idea of setting up a
spreadsheet as a weekly planner so you can manipulate with cut-and-paste
as things change, then you can use a spreadsheet called
"WeekPlan" that does just that. Parts of it will look like this:

You can also use your PrsSS translator StrongForm to go into your
Life and Estate Planning spreadsheet StrongForm.
Your translator StrongForms are created in monospace ( typewriter ) fonts
such as System, Fixed System, Roman, or Courier to eliminate font data.
You can use a Printer Setup of "Generic/ Text Only to File" to eliminate
printer data in your translation. Assuming that you have entered your code
data into your key field, you can query or find a range of records to
translate. You can use the following generic translation procedure:
1. Print the PrsSS report to a file in your spreadsheet directory as a .PRN or .TXT file.
2. Open your spreadsheet model, such as WeekPlan, and a new spreadsheet;
3. Import or Open your PrsSS file to the new spreadsheet;
4. If you desire to see the entire "About" text, then wrap the text - if not, leave as is; and
5. Cut and paste into your WeekPlan time slots.
Translating special variable expenses with your BudTaxSS report
StrongForm. You likely will have some variable expenses where you'll want to
identify them in your BudTax spreadsheet StrongForm, such as
improvements, emergencies, or casualty losses, etc.
Notice that your BudTax has a space in the line below, 'For:', to
identify the 'Budget Item' from your PrsNote. You can enter the
identification into your PrsNote, and then use your BudTaxSS
to translate into your BudTax at the appropriate month 'Est.'
column and the line item row.
